Hi, I'm Emily.

I’m a decision strategist and Choicetech Consultant & Coach with a background in information science, high-reliability design, decision environment, and the tangled, fascinating collaborations that drive hybrid techno-human decisions.

I specialize in helping people and organizations rethink how they make decisions, especially in environments where digital systems, high stakes, and high-volume information collide. The more complex the system, the more I love diving in.

Why I Built Remake The Rules

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly when Remake The Rules began to take shape. Over the years, I’ve worked across deeply consequential industries; spaces where success hinged not just on the right tools, but on the right use of those tools. That insight became the cornerstone of my work:

It’s not just about new technologies.
It’s about changing how we engage with the ones we already use.

Through this lens, I saw how many high-impact decisions, from who we date to how we lead, are shaped by default thinking that haven’t evolved to match the world we now live in. Algorithms, dashboards, data-driven tools: they’re everywhere. But most people are still using them without the strategies or support they need to actually benefit.

Remake The Rules is my response to that gap.
